SALAMANCA CITY

Salamanca is one of the most important university city. It is known in the whole world for it and for its artistic wealth: cathedrals, palaces, churches ... and also for its artistic tendencies such as the Romanesque one, the Gothic one, the plateresque one and the baroque one.

Placed on the banks of the river Tormes, its geographical extension is 12.336 Km², and it is populated by 159.000 inhabitants.
